Yes, it really is sort of unbelievable that yesterday, Monday, March 25th was another snow day from school. We were blasted with 4 -5 inches overnight and once again we got to shovel out the driveway! The kids did get invited to friends and I eventually went shopping so it turned out to be a fun day!
We celebrated Grandpa Bob's birthday this week. Any chance to party is always fun and family is so important to us so it was double fun. Happy Birthday Grandpa Bob!
We had a good visit with Grandma Joan on Sunday. She seems to be enjoying her new home here in Fort Wayne. The kids love visiting her. There are always puzzles going in the computer room and checkers in the commons and if that fails they love playing with her wheeling walker!
Our church runs a "Go Day" which is where they send volunteers out into the community to serve. We signed up as a family last Saturday and they sent us to the Food Bank out north to package M & M's. Yes you heard right. Five tons of M & M's were donated in huge boxes and we had to package them in ziplocs to send to families for Easter candy. I am proud to say I don't think the Clark family ate over 10 M & M's between us. We were all very conscious that this was candy for those that weren't getting much for Easter so we just kept scooping and zipping! Nice job Josh & Cate on serving for Jesus!
Cate has started a volleyball camp and seems to love that. It just might be the sport for her!
As usual I have to add a few shots of our little grandson Nolan.
"Tuck Gama!" Nolan crawled under this coffee table and had his legs stuck in between the bars. He was pretty "tuck" alright. I decided it needed a blanket there and he decided it was a good place to take a rest!
The new coffee table was chalkboard on the top. So cute that they wrote me a note that morning!
He sort of likes baseball but he really likes to watch TV!
Life is sure good! We love our family and we love living for Jesus! I hope you have made the choice to keep
Choosing joy,
Chris & crew
