Thanksgiving 2012 & Brook Moving Day!

The big news this past week was Thanksgiving & Brook ! We had a big festive dinner at our house on Thursday with lots of family. Josh & Cate are thrilled when lots of family are around and they are on their best behavior it seems. I think they just feel really comfortable and loved when everyone is home. Here's some pictures of the fun day Thursday!

Josh really got into the cooking.  He peeled all 8lbs of potatoes for me and then helped mash them up.  Later on you will notice he is in the kitchen making gravy with Dad and helping Ate Susi inject the turkey with cajum spices.  This boy may be a chef in the future.  He loves to cook and he loves to eat!

Life really gets fun when Master Nolan (grandson) arrives.  He puts a smile on all our faces.

Ate Autumn brought some crafts along for Cate and Nolan.

Nolan loves his mommy!

Nolan and Great Great Uncle Jerry enjoy some time together.

                                              What is Grandpa
                                               cooking over there?
We love Ate Susi & Kuya Luke!

Kuya Luke fried the cajun turkey outside and it was a hit with everyone!  Nice job Luke!

Lots of family members stopped by and we loved seeing each and everyone of them.

Great Grandma gets some Nolan time but he seems to be getting heavy for her!

This Grandma loves her Sweet Nolan time too!  Nolan is checking out Grandma here!

We love Kuya Nick & Ate Autumn!
So fun for Josh & Cate to have the older siblings in their lives.

On Friday we headed to Brook, IN to Grandma Joan's house. Grandma Joan is moving to Fort Wayne to an assisted living home and we couldn't be happier. We are excited to see her on a daily basis. Her being closer is the fun part. The not so fun part is cleaning and clearning out the family home. Lots of cousins and other family were on hand for the day Friday and again Josh & Cate love family time.

Josh has had an infected spot on his arm so we had to head to the doctor on Saturday morning.  Both kids got flu shots too and did great with them.  They are tough kiddos.

Ouch!  Huge infected boil on Josh's arm.  Yikes!

Waiting for the flu shots.  The wait was the worst part!

Zoe watching all the Christmas decorations coming out!

Cate was a big help with the Christmas tree and Josh wanted to just rest.  I think the weekend wore him out plus he is on an anitibiotic for his arm infection.
