The excitement this week was a trip downtown to the Scottish Rite Auditorium (which is now the Fine Arts Center for St. Francis University). St. Francis was putting on The Christ Child Festival. Josh and Cate both invited 2 friends and we headed downtown. It was a live nativity journey, music, dancers, speakers, martial arts, and crafts along with cookies and drinks. The kids all seemed to have a good time. Jeff was home recuperating from his surgery and some additional germs so it was just me and 6 kids for the day! It all went great!
We saw our good friends, Mary and Lonnie Au.
That was a treat all by itself! So fun to see them.
Later at home we baked some sugar cookies and added frosting along with sprinkles. Anything to make them seem festive. It was a fun Saturday. Josh & Cate have some really great friends. We always enjoying sharing Jesus with our friends and when you add some cookies everyone pays attention. Thanks for reading the blog and praying for us.
