Sports & Family

We are into our soccer and basketball routine each week.  We are thrilled to have family members that show up at the games to be part of the fan section.  Thanks so much Grandma Carol, Uncle Kirk, Nick, Autumn, and Nolan for coming out to cheer us on.

Sorry some of these are blurry but the kids don't hold still very long out there on the field and that is a good thing.

I think Cate scored on Josh here and he wasn't too happy about it.  She loved it though!

They were short on referees so Nick got in on the action.

Three generations take the floor!  One of them was asked to leave!  :(

After basketball games we made a visit to see Grandma Joan.  Grandma Joan was doing great and loved seeing Sweet Nolan and his parents!  She always enjoys Cate and Josh too!  They are lucky to have 2 grandmas right here in the area!

We owed Nolan a delayed Christmas gift so we thought he would enjoy the Little Tykes basketball hoop.  What we didn't realize is how much fun it would be for the big kids too!

Nolan always loves the stairs.  My does he keep all of us adults on our toes!

On Sunday we had some unexpected guests.  Brian & Heather (Clark) Money were in town for the Jesus Culture concert and stopped by.  Heather is a Clark cousin and we haven't seen her in many years.  It was great for her to stop by and we enjoyed getting to know Brian better.  The kids really loved having some new big playmates for the day.  Brian was great at shooting nerf guns and playing basketball with Josh while Heather kept busying trying to beat Cate in Uno and Old Maids.  We really enjoyed our afternoon with them and are hoping they will be around more often.  Here are some pictures of the fun!

It's always fun to add a few cute pictures of Nolan.  We love our family so much.  We are blessed!

You can see we are enjoying our kiddos.  The Upwards basketball scripture this week is Jesus replied, "Love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind."  Matt 22:37  We repeat that several times each day so it can get ingrained in our memory and the hearts of our kiddos!  Thanks for reading the blog and always continue

Choosing joy,
Chris & crew
