Holidays are here!

Holidays and Family time have arrived.  It seems like we barely got past Halloween and Thanksgiving was upon us.  We hosted the family dinner for Thanksgiving.  Grandma Carol and Grandpa Bob were in California so our dinner crowd was a little thin this year.  We still managed a spread of the usual turkey, mashed potatoes, corn, beans, salad, rolls, and of course desserts!  It was great to have the boys and families here along with Grandma Joan.  Uncle Kirk and Aunt Jenni stopped by later and of course Uncle Jerry popped in for a quick hello.  Always great to have family around us. And really fun for us right now with 2 new grandsons to hold and cuddle.

Josh and Cate love to be in the kitchen.  Cate's specialty is the deviled eggs while
Josh loves to be in on the fixing of the turkey.

   Baby holding time!

Sweet Nolan is always full of fun!

Grandsons make us smile!!!

Once Thanksgiving was over we jumped right into decorating for Christmas.  What a fun season with lights and decorations and cookies and  smiles.  But the main reason for the smiles in our lives is the birth of Jesus Christ.  He is our King and he deserves quite a celebration.  We celebrated with the boys and families this past weekend since Luke, Susi and Konrad will be in Germany visiting her family over Christmas.  They are excited to meet their new grandson.

Church time at The Chapel and the camel was visiting!

Thanks for reading the blog and praying for us.  Christmas is here and we are excited. Check back later for pictures of the big day!

Here is our King! Here is our love.  Here is our God who's come to bring us back to Him.
He is the One.  He is Jesus!
Thanks David Crowder for a great song!

Choosing joy,
Chris & crew
