Back to School!

The big news here in the past 2 weeks is school has started!  Josh and Cate have waited since last spring when school ended for this big day.  They love school in the USA.  Josh is a 6th grader at Woodside Middle School.  He has block 8 schedule which means every other day he has different classes.  Try explaining that to someone that has trouble with the English language. He is also running cross country and playing PAL football.  He is loving every minute of it so far.  Cate is a 5th grader at Whispering Meadows Elementary. She likes her teacher and is excited to go each day.  Shse also plays Upwards Soccer.  Praise the Lord it's been a good start to the school year.

We've also got a lot of lake time in recently.  We have to spend all our spare time in the boat because our boating days are numbered now that school has started.  We had our friends, Melissa, Josh & Leah to the lake.

We also were thrilled to have Julie, Moses, and Sandria Boroff plus Diane Oestreich and RJ to the lake.  Moses, Sandria, RJ, Josh, & Cate all knew each other from Kings Garden Children's Home in the Philippines.  We were so excited to get them all excited at the lake.

We went to the Little League Midwest League Championship game in Indianapolis.  Our good friend, Kim Porter, works for Little League and invited us down to the game.  Since Josh played Little League this year we thought it would be fun to see an important game like this.

Luke & Susi were camping down at Mississiniwea Reservoir and invited us to come boating.  We can never resist an invite to be with family.  We went and enjoyed some fun on the water and then went back to their campsite for somemores.  What a great way to spend the day.

We ended our week with lunch with Grandma Joan.  We love spending time with family and friends!

Two important things we know in our life....the first is to know God and love Him!  The 2nd is Family is Forever.  I pray you know and love Jesus and I pray you have family in your life.  Thanks for reading the blog and praying for us.

Choosing joy,
Chris & crew
