Back to Normal...whatever that may be!

We are into our routine of school during the day and soccer or basketball at night.  Both kids have a fair amount of homework so this keeps us busy during the inbetween times.

We had some unexpected guests stop by...Mom Deborah and Pastor Ray.  This couple was the interim director at Kings" Garden over in the Philippines where Josh & Cate used to live.  They stopped by for a visit since they will head back to the PI soon.  They have been in the states raising awareness and support for their mission field.  They were stunned at how much Josh & Cate had grown since they saw them last June.

We also got to love on the children of Jake and Kim LeFavour last week.  They have 5 adorable children.  Josh & Cate loved having so many little ones around.

Jeff & I went out of town for a friend's wedding and our good friends, Dave & Karen Shoppell kept the kids for us.  We so appreciated having a night away.  Thanks Dave, Karen, Sophie, John, and Charlie for helping us out.  We so enjoyed our time spent at the Porter wedding.

Of course Sweet Nolan is still sweet.  I can't miss the chance to show him off!

Christmas Break continues...part 2

Our older kiddos...Luke & Susi, Nick & Autumn along with Sweet Nolan  arrived on Friday night and the big time fun began.  Josh & Cate love love these older siblings and I have to admit myself they are a blast to have around.  We are so blessed with family.

It was a great weekend filled with family and fun!  We are so thankful for our the support and love we feel from these people for Josh & Cate.  We are thankful they are "choosing joy" along with us.  Below you will see some more family friends, Josh & Leah (sledding buddies) with Josh & Cate, John & Kim Porter,and  Mindy Miller.  Blessings to our friends for loving on us!
